Founded in 1953, Danziger is today one of the world’s most innovative floriculture companies. We are engaged in the research, breeding, development, propagation, production, sale and marketing of varieties of cut flowers, annuals and perennials – creating extraordinary flower varieties and beautiful assortments that help customers along the entire value chain achieve extraordinary success.
A global family business
Beginning in the 1950’s as the dream of Ernest and Zehava Danziger, our company has grown into a major floriculture producer, with over 500 million cuttings of Danziger varieties planted each year, in more than 60 countries. We continue to dream big, exploring new ways to capture the market’s imagination, while staying true to our family tradition being personally committed to our customers and employees, and doing business with integrity and respect for the environment.
Investing in Innovation
Danziger is proud to be at the forefront of scientific breeding of varieties. We operate one of the industry’s largest R&D departments, with a breeding team numbering over 100 employees, including scientists, professional breeders, and researchers with PhDs, Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from leading academic institutes. We partner closely with the Faculty of Agriculture at Hebrew University and the world renowned Volcani Center of Agricultural Research. Complementing our portfolio with respected genetics from other leading breeders, Danziger manages over 600 elite varieties – with superior genetics and traits – under breeders’ rights, and hundreds of the company’s varieties are registered under Plant Breeding Rights (PBR) and Plant Patents all over the world.
Worldwide operations
Danziger operates advanced propagation facilities in Israel, Guatemala, Kenya, and Colombia – ensuring a continuous supply of clean, high quality vegetative propagation material to around 1000 customers in over 60 countries. We supply our propagation materials, in the form of cuttings, plants and in-vitro, via a highly efficient cold chain distribution network. All Danziger products adhere to strict propagation and distribution standards, as well as environmental, fair trade and fair working practices.

Extraordinary Flower & Plant Products
Danziger leads the way in creating new assortments that customers love and growers trust – satisfying the market’s evolving need for imaginative, high-quality and robust varieties. In cut-flowers, Danziger’s Gypsophila variety Million Stars® launched in the late 1990’s quickly became a breeding breakthrough. Differentiated by its tiny flowers, inflorescence structure, branch stability and excellent vase-life, Million Stars® earned global recognition as a leading variety, winning prestigious awards in Israel and around the world. Million Stars ® and additional new Gypsophila varieties have transformed Danziger into global leader of Gypsophila breeding and marketing. In ornamental plants, Petunia Amore™, has captured the public’s imagination with its unique “Love in a pot” branding and its multi-channel marketing campaign, featuring a first-of-its-kind commercial.

Flexible Sales & Marketing
Danziger markets its varieties, cuttings, rooted cuttings (rc) and tissue cultures (in special cases) by providing licenses to propagators and growers around the world, and through its state-of-the-art digital platforms.
Inspirational Branding & Marketing
Danziger refreshed its corporate identity in 2016, with a future-looking new logo, graphic language and messaging, under the slogan: Danziger. Imagine More. Our different business units – Danziger “Dan” Flower Farm Israel, and Danziger Kenya, Danziger Guatemala, Danziger Colombia and Danziger Ecuador are now unified under the single Danziger brand. We continue to invest in developing strong brands and compelling marketing stories to add value to our varieties.
